When angered, pao puffers puff up like a balloon.

The pao puffer is a small in size but has a notoriously irritable attitude. When angered, it swallows water or air to inflate its loose abdominal skin, turning itself into a "balloon." However, this often causes the fish to flip over due to buoyancy, exposing its vulnerable belly above water - an act of self-sabotage in the eyes of predators from above.
