Phew... What a catch! It's the colorful Dwarf Snakehead!
Being the cautious type, it lies perfectly still at the bottom of the tank.
Dwarf Snakehead is an Aquatic Creature in Petit Planet.
Omnipedia
[edit | edit source]Scientific Name: Channa gachua
As a member of the snakehead family, the Dwarf Snakehead tends to be more cautious in captivity compared to other snakeheads. Unlike its more combative relatives that love to flaunt their prowess, the Dwarf Snakehead prefers to wear duller camouflage colors and stay completely still to keep a low profile.
The trait seems to make them a little less interesting to look at for collectors, but as long as they're healthy, there's no fault in following one's nature.
