Could the legendary "lake cryptid" actually be the taimen?
Phew... What a catch! It's the elusive Taimen!
Could the taimen be the mysterious lake cryptid from the legends?
Taimen is an Aquatic Creature in Petit Planet.
Omnipedia
Scientific Name: Hucho taimen
The taimen is also known as the common taimen.
However, it is anything but "common" as a large carnivorous fish.
The taimen's legendary size and elusive nature once led to rumors that it was the authentic "lake cryptid." However, like most cryptid legends, without concrete evidence, the taimen's cryptid status remains speculative.
