Scientific Name: Rhodeus sinensis
The Light's Bitterling lays its eggs inside freshwater mussels. It might seem like the bitterling is "using" the mussel, but as it gets close, the mussel also releases its own glochidia to latch onto the fish's body as parasites.
However, this seemingly mutual relationship comes with an "unfair" small print: the bitterling merely "rents" a temporary space inside the mussel, whereas the mussel's parasitic larvae can have lasting effects on the poor fish.
