Giving something a grandiose name is the quickest way to boost its market appeal.

Phew... What a catch! It's actually a gorgeous Royal Tetra!
It's a "royal" because of its beautiful blue-purple "robe".

Royal Tetra is an Aquatic Creature in Petit Planet.

Omnipedia

Omni-Gallery — Warmwater Zone

Scientific Name: Inpaichthys kerri

The most curious thing about the Royal Tetra is probably the "royal" in its name. In reality, they are a humble, small aquarium species that aren't as aggressive and territorial as other tetras. The "royal" moniker is simply to reflect its beautiful blue-purple color.
