People want the mosquitofish to take out as many mosquitoes as possible, but it still insists on snacking on things it shouldn't.

What a catch! My first Mosquitofish! It doesn't just eat mosquitoes.

Mosquitofish is an Fish Creature in Petit Planet.

Omni-Gallery — Coolwater Zone

Scientific Name: Gambusia affinis

After discovering that mosquitofish prey on mosquito larvae, the species was introduced to rivers and lakes as a biological control for mosquitoes.
However, researchers soon discovered that mosquitofish also prey on frog tadpoles and other fish eggs, causing ecological damage.
What was meant to solve a mosquito problem inadvertently created a new "fish problem." A classic case of a solution backfiring.
