Blackfin Pearlfish is an Aquatic Creature in Petit Planet.
The blackfin pearlfish aren't particularly difficult to breed in captivity.
Once the "nursery" has been set up with peat soil and shelters with hiding spots are added, a mature pair of blackfin pearlfish will soon begin their breeding process. The eggs, buried in the peat soil, can survive out of water in a dry state for a reasonably long time.
While the blackfin pearlfish have relatively short natural lifespans, this unique breeding strategy is their way of ensuring survival of the fittest.
