Not only is it hard, it's also poisonous. Not recommended for consumption.

What a catch! My first time catching a box-shaped Yellow Boxfish!
It's even sturdier than some boxes.

Yellow Boxfish is an Aquatic Creature in Petit Planet.

Omnipedia

Omni-Gallery — Coral Zone

Scientific Name: Ostracion cubicus

The Yellow Boxfish has a perfectly boxy body covered in a thick layer of hard scales, deterring many predators from attempting a bite.
However, this heavy "armor" also leaves it powerless against even the gentlest of currents, making it clumsily "shuffle" around through the water.
