Don't be afraid, its giant mouth is only used for filter feeding.
Phew... What a catch! It's the elusive Multicolored Spiny Oyster! How big of a meal can the multicolored spiny oyster's "mouth" swallow?
Multicolored Spiny Oyster is a Shore-Dweller Creature in Petit Planet.
Scientific Name: Spondylus varius
The multicolored spiny oyster boasts an enormous size that far exceeds the common perception of shells.
When open, it resembles a gaping, hungering maw, evoking existential horror.
But in fact, despite its size, it only feeds on plankton. Truly a "gentle giant."
