What a catch! My first Tiger Prawn! It's red even before cooking.
Tiger Prawn is an Shore-Dweller Creature in Petit Planet.
Scientific Name: Penaeus esculentus
Tiger prawns typically live in seagrass beds around 200 meters deep.
They are large and delicious, so merchants began aquaculture research early on, and accidentally discovered that they can be crossbred with the tiger shrimp.
Regrettably, tiger prawns are worth much more than tiger shrimps, and crossbred individuals, despite having tiger prawn genes, can only settle for tiger shrimp pricing.
