The name suggests mystery and majesty, but the crab doesn't live up to it.

What a catch! My first Moon Crab! It can burrow into sand in a flash.
Do you think it knows how to moonwalk?

Moon Crab is a Shore-Dweller Creature in Petit Planet.

Omni-Gallery — Intertidal Zone

Scientific Name: Matuta victor

The moon crab is an expert at sand diving with specialized legs that double as paddles for swift swimming.
Despite all that, it often ends up ashore in fishing nets. Because of its mediocre taste, it's usually sold in seafood markets in the same tank as other miscellaneous crabs.
