Just by looking at the name, you'd never guess it's poisonous.

What a catch! My first red egg crab! It looks just like a brown crab.

Red Egg Crab is an Shore-Dweller Creature in Petit Planet.

It can be found fairly commonly underneath Broken Seashells on the beach.

Scientific Name: Atergatis integerrimus

The Atergatis integerrimus, commonly known as the red egg crab, closely resembles the edible crab in appearance. But unlike the edible crab, red egg crabs are highly toxic due to their diet and cannot be consumed.

The "integerrimus" in its name describes its "whole and complete" shape. For such a toxic crab species, perhaps "wholesome" isn't quite the right description.

If we are to rename it based on characteristics, then perhaps it should be "Atergatis periculosus" instead.
