To head-out on a Starsea Voyage, Planet Tenders can talk to Elsasani at the Station.
Planet Tenders can then select up to 2 Neighbors to join and assist them on the voyage, with each Neighbor differing on which tasks they excel at, are good at, or are not strong at.
Upon setting out on the first Starsea Voyage, Planet Tenders will start in the main Zone of the Galaxy they have their home planet in, either Hexia or Taffeh. The other Galaxy's Starsea Zone can be visited, either by talking to Elsasani when visiting a Planet Tender in that Galaxy, or by transferring zones when already on a voyage.
To land at an Islet, players will need a Star Anchor, which can be purchased at Loomix Mart (3 daily).
Zones are groups of Islets, that are part of a particular Galaxy's Starsea.
There are several zones where players can choose to start a Starsea Voyage. By default, Players who choose Hexia as their Galaxy will have Hexia Zone H83 unlocked, while those who chose Taffeh will have Taffeh Zone T31 unlocked. Players can unlock and explore the other starting zone by visiting a Starmigo who has settled in the other Galaxy first.
Furthermore, there exist Seasonal Zones, which are included under either Hexia or Taffeh. These seasonal zones are linked to Events, but do not disappear when the event has concluded, remaining available for exploration. However, any Neighbor encounters that would be possible during the duration of the event, will not be available thereafter.
Islets are the main exploration content of Starsea Voyages. They are instanced zones, typically focusing on a specific Creature type, Item, or will feature a puzzle that can be completed for extra rewards.
Each Islet will initially be Unknown, notated with a " ? " icon, however upon exploring an Islet, its name and core type will be revealed, and can be returned to at a later date.
During a Starsea Voyage, Planet Tenders may also come across Encounter islets, which will be home to a Neighbor. These islets can spawn randomly upon starting a voyage, or during a voyage, and once the Neighbor has been greeted, and the Islet left, it will despawn and cannot be returned to.
