It is considerably large, though only in the world of insects.
What a catch! My first Metallic Wood-Boring Beetle! It's known for its massive size.
Its sheer size alone could earn it a title of greatness.
Metallic Wood-Boring Beetle is a Land Creature in Petit Planet.
Scientific Name: Euchroma gigantea
The history of using the metallic wood-boring beetle's vibrant wing cases as expensive decorations dates back a long time. Its spectacular size, compared to other beetles, has made it a symbol of wealth and power in some cultures.
However, in certain other cultures, it's simply a type of food that can be roasted and eaten.
