Scientific Name: Apis mellifera
Honey bees have a strict social hierarchy. When the queen bee is strong and the worker bee lays eggs in secret, it will anxiously consume and get rid of them. However, if the queen bee is weak, then the worker bees capable of laying eggs may opt for regicide and replace her.
