Let me take a look at your head... What a perfect shape!

People usually know their shoe size, but hat size? Not so much.

A hat protects the good luck that rests on your head. May I take your measurements and make one for you?

Dorjelang is a Neighbor in Petit Planet.

Profile

At the hat stall, Dorjelang sits steady as a mountain, weaving hats in silence. As usual, he's misunderstood by customers as someone unapproachable. When he looks up, the sky is filled with endless rosy clouds — another "astonishing" day.

May this hat bring its wearer good luck. Tashi delek.

House

Dorjelang's Yakraft House

Main article: Dorjelang's Yakraft House

In Dorjelang's imagination, his home is a tiny raft on the plateau, with a straw hat atop, sailing with the drifting clouds as it chases the burning sunset.

Trivia

• Dorjelang's animal features are similar to those of the Yak.

Etymology

• Dorjelang's name drives its inspiration from Tibetan with the first part of his name རྡོ་རྗེ། rdo-rje, meaning "diamond" or "indestructible" and referencing the dorje (also known as vajra), a ritualistic tool in Tibetan Buddhism. Dorje is also a common male given name in Tibet. The second part of his name, ལང lang, means "to rise".
• Tashi Delek (བཀྲ་ཤིས་བདེ་ལེགས) is a common Tibetan greeting. The first part བཀྲ་ཤིས tashi can be translated into "auspicious" while the second part བདེ་ལེགས delek means "well" or "fine". This expression can be understood as "Blessings and good luck".
