It loves to stay on flowers, and the flower doesn't have to be an orchid.

Phew... What a catch! It's a rare orchid mantis!
Orchid mantises don't necessarily live on orchids.

Orchid Mantis is an Insect Creature in Petit Planet.

It is located in the Omni-Gallery in the Grasslands Insects tank.

Omnipedia

The orchid mantis is a mantis with highly specialized physiological characteristics due to its environment.
Despite having "orchid" in its name, it doesn't necessarily live exclusively on orchids.
Therefore, don't be too surprised if you run into one at an unexpected location.
