What a catch! My first ground beetle! It can fight back against frogs.

Ground beetles are carnivorous insects, with most species adopting an active hunting strategy. They are on the list of rare insects that can reverse the food chain by preying on small vertebrates.
Even if swallowed by frogs, they are capable of chewing their way out and turning the tables on their predator.
However, one can rest assured that as long as the ground beetles stay as they are, most vertebrates won't be sweating over a new survival crisis.
