Trivia
- Heyu's animal features are similar to those of the red-crowned crane, a large crane that can be found in Siberia, Mongolia, north-east of China, the Korean peninsula and Japan.
Etymology
- Heyu's name comprises the Chinese characters 鹤 hè, meaning "crane", and 玉 yù, which means "jade".
