Some leaves might actually be bluebottle chrysalises in disguise.
Bluebottle is an Insect Creature in Petit Planet.
It can be found in the Omni-Gallery in the Garden Insects section.

The pupa of the bluebottle butterfly will mimic the appearance of camphor tree leaves.
However, bluebottles do not exclusively choose camphor trees for pupation. But in terms of the bluebottle species' population, slight "mismatches" in pupal camouflage seem to [sic] quite acceptable.
