What a catch! My first ball-rolling Dung Beetle!
Dung Beetle is a Land Creature in Petit Planet.
Omnipedia
Omni-Gallery — Desert Zone
Scientific Name: Onthophagus gagates
The Dung Beetle meticulously crafts its "ball", patiently shaping it into a perfect sphere, picking out and discarding any unwanted plant fibers to ensure the "ball" is packed with the best nutrients. Then, it tirelessly pushes the "ball" ⏤ which could weigh up to a thousand times the beetle's own weight ⏤ all the way to its nest.
At the end of the day, all this hard work is really just for enjoying a delicious meal.
