What a catch! My first... bird feather? ...It's a Silk Moth with feathery antennae!
Silk Moth is a Insect Creature in Petit Planet.
It can be found in the Omni-Gallery in the Cave Insects section.
Omnipedia
Scientific Name: Bombyx mori
Silk moths only feed during their larval stage.
After metamorphosis, they lose their mouthparts and can only rely on the reserve of nutrients accumulated during their larval stage.
For silk moths, emergence is a bittersweet "coming of age" that heralds the approaching end.
