From The Petit Planet Wiki
Fish are Creatures in Petit Planet.
Overview
Fish are caught with the
Fishing Rod.
They are divided into Freshwater Fish, and Saltwater Fish, with the former appearing in inland Rivers and Lakes, while the latter appear in the Coastal Waters of a Planette.
Unlike both Insects and Shore-Dwellers, which can be seen as their specific 3D models, Fish are instead shown as silhouettes, with each silhouette-type corresponding to a size-range of fish.
All Freshwater Fish and Gray-quality Saltwater Fish have the same capture method, whereby they will nibble a couple of times on the Fishing Rod line, then will bite-down and can be caught straight away. Purple or Gold quality Saltwater Fish will instead nibble a few times, then after biting down, will need to be reeled in slowly, while making sure that the line does not snap.
