Generally speaking, it's hard to notice that their "belts" look different.

Banded Skimmer is an Insect Creature in Petit Planet.

Omnipedia

Omni-Gallery — Waterside Zone

Scientific Name: Pseudothemis zonata

The Banded Skimmer is a sexually dimorphic insect.
The male's "band" is typically white, whereas the female's has a yellowish tint. While the difference is very noticeable, getting a clear look at their little "bands" is no easy task when they're flying at high speeds or in low light.
