Starsea Voyage is a Game System in Petit Planet. It is unlocked after completing Memo Task.
To head-out on a Starsea Voyage, Planet Tenders can talk to Elsasani at the Station.
Planet Tenders can then select up to 2 Neighbors to join and assist them on the voyage, with each Neighbor differing on which tasks they excel at, are good at, or are not strong at.
Upon setting out on the first Starsea Voyage, Planet Tenders will start in the main Zone of the Galaxy they have their home planet in, either Hexia or Taffeh. The other Galaxy's Starsea Zone can be visited, either by talking to Elsasani when visiting a Planet Tender in that Galaxy, or by transferring zones when already on a voyage.
To land at an Islet, players will need a
Star Anchor, which can be purchased at Loomix Mart (3 daily).
Zones are groups of Islets, that are part of a particular Galaxy's Starsea.
There are several zones where players can choose to start a Starsea Voyage. By default, Players who choose Hexia as their Galaxy will have Hexia Zone H83 unlocked, while those who chose Taffeh will have Taffeh Zone T31 unlocked. Players can unlock and explore the other starting zone by visiting a Starmigo who has settled in the other Galaxy first.
Furthermore, there exist Seasonal Zones, which are included under either Hexia or Taffeh. These seasonal zones are linked to Events, but do not disappear when the event has concluded, remaining available for exploration. However, any Neighbor encounters that would be possible during the duration of the event, will not be available thereafter.
Islets are the main exploration content of Starsea Voyages. They are instanced zones, typically focusing on a specific Creature type, Item, or will feature a puzzle that can be completed for extra rewards.
Every Islet, no matter which type it falls under, will feature
Wandering Star ×1-3 and a Common Travel Surprise Box that will award
Tree Sap, and may contain certain Furniture and/or seeds for the Trees/Crops on the Islet. Very rarely, there may also be a Precious Travel Surprise Box, which will feature greater rewards and Inspo Cards for the Sunflower Furniture Set.
Each Islet will initially be Unknown, notated with a " ? " icon, however upon exploring an Islet, its name and core type will be revealed, and can be returned to at a later date.
During a Starsea Voyage, Planet Tenders may also come across Encounter islets, which will be home to a Neighbor. These islets can spawn randomly upon starting a voyage, or during a voyage, and once the Neighbor has been greeted, and the Islet left, it will despawn and cannot be returned to.
Final Beta Test
- Planet Tenders can now start and go on a Starsea Voyage, without necessarily having the required Anchors.
- A shortcut to the Loomix Mart was added to the Starsea Voyage UI, to quickly purchase Anchors.
- A minimap and overview map were added, to allow for easier navigation.
- The ability to return to a setup point to change neighbors or teleport between zones was added.
- The ability to change between Hexia and Taffeh zones was added, no matter the starting galaxy.
- Rather than Shallows and Depths, each Galaxy's Starsea is now a Zone, which has no unlock or progression requirements.
- Seasonal Starsea Zones were added.
- The Starsea Voyager Vehicle and related Loomix Vehicle Services were removed.
- Players now voyage across the Starsea in a boat, with the neighbors sat inside.
- Islet Lucadrops Islet Lucadrops were replaced with
Wandering Star. These do not currently have a use outside of collection.
Lumia Battery was replaced with
Star Anchor.
- Instead of 1 Battery being used-up across multiple islets, an Anchor is a single-use item allowing docking at an islet.
Stardrift Test
- Rather than Strata, each Galaxy's Starsea is now separated into Shallows and Depths.
- Unlock requirements for the Shallows, Depths and "Uncharted Bays", was adjusted from the requirements for the different Strata.
Coziness Test
- Starsea Voyage was released.
