The Atergatis integerrimus, commonly known as the red egg crab, closely resembles the edible crab in appearance.<br>

But unlike the edible crab, red egg crabs are highly toxic due to their diet and cannot be consumed.<br>

The "integerrimus" in its name describes its "whole and complete" shape. For such a toxic crab species, perhaps "wholesome" isn't quite the right description.<br>

If we are to rename it based on characteristics, then perhaps it should be "atergatis periculosus" instead.
